And if I thought yesterday’s performance was enough for the year, then I had forgotten about the Creche end of year do, including “concert” (yes, I use that term loosely, too) by the kids.
Previous year’s concerts have been, well, as good as they possibly can when you’re being sung at by a bunch of 3 to 5 year old kids, hyped up on cheap red cordial. But with the changeover (and half-arsedness) of management, this year’s concert subject us to a bunch of 2 and 3 year old kids, sitting around the staff during their sleep time. The staff were singing a couple of Wiggles songs and some Christmas Carols very badly, whilst trying to encourage the (very tired and apathetic) kids to join in.
Santa turned up and was promptly ignored once his sack of lollies had been demolished.
