Kids and First Aid

Bumps, bruises, and grazes are, without a doubt, a necessary part of growing up.

Or, well, maybe “necessary” is not quite the right word. “Inevitable” is possibly more appropriate, although I am of the belief that children do learn through experiences; so if it is bruises, bumps and grazes that teach them, so be it.

Of course, kids can also be remarkably stupid and thoughtless in their curiousity and experimentation, so … you know, that’s where “inevitable” comes in.

Also, they don’t have a lot of skills when they’re starting out on their adventures … I think you’ve got the gist now, right?

There is panic and anxiety that tends to ensue, especially on the part of the parents. Really, rather than panic and being all anxious, there are only a small handful of things every household
