Is it just me or do others say “screw you!” and avoid clicking on a link when you’re told you ‘should’?
I don’t like the word ‘should’. Or ‘shouldn’t’ for that matter.
I also don’t like to be told I ‘should’ – and when I have some randompost show up in my newsfeed or receive an email telling me I ‘should’ read it, I get a bit “Don’t tell me what to do!” and ignore it.
And yes, it has occurred to me that if you are one of those who also don’t like being told what you ‘should’ be doing, you probably said “screw you!” and didn’t click on this link, in which case, I’m totally talking to myself.
Ah, well, it wouldn’t be the first time …
What I don’t like about it is, well, a few things.
First up, who says I ‘should’ and who the hell died and made them Lord Overlord of the Universe?
Do they even know me, what I like, dislike, believe in, value and all the rest of it?
